Ron Costa has been perfecting his paella recipe for 26 years, starting on his son Jack’s first birthday.

Using wood from his family's almond orchard in Manteca, California, Ron cooked his first paella over an open fire in the blazing heat. Since then, paella has become a cherished Costa family tradition, becoming the centerpiece for many New Year’s and birthday celebrations. With a name like Costa, it’s no surprise that paella became a family tradition; it was in their DNA.

Jack's love for fine wine sparked like his father's love for paella; suddenly and without warning. During high school, Jack began working in the wine cellars of Reustle Vineyards before moving to Washington State where he launched a career in hospitality at Col Solare winery.

Now, 26 years after the inaugural paella, Ron’s culinary passion and Jack’s vinous enthusiasm have combined to create the ultimate wine and food experience with Paella Costa!.
